Correcting
The First Draft Of History On The Jessica Lynch Story One of
Accuracy in Media’s longstanding complaints about the practice of
journalism is the reluctance, and sometimes downright refusal, of editors

been a successful financial year. But on the matter of the New York Times'
editorial and news coverage, he was on the defensive, declaring that he
would not be "intimidated" by criticism. May 15,
