Subject: Prisoner of Conscience kidnapped by U.S. Civil Rights/Human Rights At Axis of Logic, we have published articles in the past on Ernst Zundel's arrest, imprisonment and deportation for continued imprisonment by the U.S. and Canadian Governments. We have received numerous complaints and e-mails from readers, condemning our support for Mr. Zundel because of what he thinks and writes and some readers have "unsubscribed" - as a result of our publishing articles informing people of the facts in this case. While it is not our wish or intention to offend anyone, we will not suppress news that we believe should be published. We believe "Hate Crimes", so-called, have been used by the "thought police" to silence the free speech of this man who resided in the U.S. legally. In addition to the obvious principle of freedom at issue, one must ask the question, "If we allow our government to imprison people because we disagree with them, where will it lead?" Axis of Logic registers no agreement or disagreement with Zundel's beliefs or views about the "Holocaust", but we defend his right to express them. But your obsession with Holocaust revisionism casts a pall over everything you do. I have addressed this point with you before. I write to offer professional advice: You are undermining your cause, unless your cause is Holocaust denial. Items like the one below make be believe that it just might be your primary mission. Even though he is married to an American citizen, he was deported (the Patriot Act made that possible) to Canada and banned to return to the United States for the next 20 years. As of today, Zündel is still in prison in Canada under maximum security, without a bail hearing or a real court hearing. Zündel was arrested under the Patriot Act because he did not report to the INS. The Bush administration has given a new meaning to terror. 23 June 2003 Engineer Fröhlich Arrested in Vienna On Saturday, June 21, chemical engineer (Dipl. Ing.) Wolfgang Fröhlich, 51, was arrested in Vienna, Austria, and taken to prison. H trial could last two days, as the public prosecutor wishes, or as long as two or three weeks, as his attorney, Dr. Herbert Schaller, wishes. For seven years, Fröhlich had sent to jurists, members of parliament, politicians and journalists, thousands of copies of his writings, in which he says that the alleged wartime Nazi extermination gas chambers are, as he put it, a lie. Remarkably, he suffered no real legal consequences. Then, following the publication in 2001 of his 368-page file, Die Gaskammer Lüge -The Gas Chamber Lie, the authorities decided to arrest him. But he went into hiding, and the police apparently made no serious effort to find him. Fröhlich's arrest on June 21 may, perhaps, be connected with a statement in Vienna two days earlier by Rudolph Giuliani. On June 19 the former mayor of New York, speaking as a US government representative, told participants at a two-day Conference on Anti-Semitism, organized in Vienna by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), that Revisionism should be stopped. In an article published a day earlier in The New York Times, 'How Europe Can Stop the Hate', he said, referring to officials of the European states: "Making sure their citizens have an honest understanding of the Holocaust is vital, as revisionist viewpoints put us at risk of a repetition of race-based genocide." On June 16, President George W. Bush twice criticized "revisionist historians" for expressing doubts about the official version of the US war against Iraq. In a way, Ernst Zündel and Wolfgang Fröhlich may be the first revisionist victims of Bush and Giuliani. In January 1944, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, manipulated by Henry Morgenthau, Jr., his Treasury Secretary, created the War RefugeeBoard (WRB), which fabricated its infamous report on the German extermination camps -- Auschwitz and Birkenau. In September 2001, President George W. Bush, manipulated by Paul Wolfowitz, his Deputy Defense Secretary, created the Office of Special Plans (OSP), which fabricated untrue reports about Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). The OSP is headed by Abram Shulsky. Inside the OSP, the four people specifically in charge of the WMD dossier are called 'The Cabal', from 'Cabala'; even Le Monde mentioned it (Jacques Isnard, Le Monde, 7 June 2003, p.7). Similar lies. Similar liars. Similar beneficiaries. Similar victims. As it seems, a similar Revisionism is needed. NB: On June 17, the French daily Le Monde published an ironic front-page article entitled (in French): 'Saddam was evil, therefore he had prohibited weapons'. The end results of being an Historical Revisionist: Dr Dariusz Ratajczak, a Polish academic now working as a storeman, all because he dared write a book that questioned the details of the 'Holocaust'. "After almost 4-5 years my 'university penalty' is finishing on 20 October 2003. I sent 45 applications for work to various Polish universities and high schools with the no positive results. One example of many is the following: "You are not an historian - you are a liar". Of course, there is no chance to work as a journalist either. According to a storm of rumours, a black, three-wheeled coffin, with three black crows on top, was moving along Jamaica's roads. Villages emptied in terror at reports the coffin was nearing. The three-wheeled coffin was never found. The panic subsided. North Americans and Britons have just experienced their own version of the three-wheeled coffin - a national panic attack called Iraq.
